As San Angelo’s only Community Health Center, La Esperanza Clinic cares for many patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or living below the poverty line, and often we are the only medical service in town they can afford to access. By providing essential services such as primary care, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental, and women’s health, we reduce unnecessary ER visits, deliver life-saving preventive care, improve chronic disease outcomes, and provide same-day medical attention to thousands of people in the Concho Valley. We exist so no one has to choose between getting medical care or covering basic household needs.

 

This work requires resources, and while we receive some federal funding, we rely on the generosity of our community here in West Texas to continue to provide quality, life-saving healthcare to some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

 

We would be honored to have you join us at our annual fundraising gala, Night of Hope for a special evening celebrating our generous supporters who make our mission possible. Proceeds raised go directly to patient care, helping us provide medications, transportation, medical equipment, and other essential services to those who need them most.

 

This year’s gala is Thursday, November 13th, at the historic Stables at Fort Concho, featuring a delicious dinner catered by City Café and Bakery, an open bar, live entertainment by Case Hardin, an auction, and we will be honoring representative Drew Darby with the Legislative Champion Awards. We are also excited to share that Representative Drew Darby will be honored with the TACHC Health Center Legislative Champion Award during the evening. Representative Darby has been a steadfast advocate for community health centers, working to expand access to affordable prescriptions and strengthen the mental health workforce in Texas. His leadership and commitment to rural communities make him a true champion, and we are proud to recognize him with this honor.
